My favorite activity within ESP
Today I want to share a bit about an activity I did during the Energy Synchronization Process. To get in touch of my energy system that is mostly unconscious, Christian A. Schwarz used a very interesting method. I referred to this activity in my previous post about pleasure.
The activity started with looking at a stack of pictures in a relaxed state of mind. This is because the energy system’s main way of functioning is through pictures whereas the cognitive system works through words. Christian took me through over 70 photos and my task was to choose the ones that were pleasing to me. I was able to find about 10 pictures that gave me strong positive vibes.
After the session, my homework was to narrow down the selection of pictures. The criteria I was instructed to use was that the photo needs to evoke very STRONG positive feelings in me, and ONLY positive. If any picture would bring even 10% negative feelings, I’d need to discard that one.
This was such an exhilarating task because I have never done any sort of work solely engaging my feelings. It had never even occurred to me to make choices purely based on how it feels. For example, I was familiar and fascinated with the KonMari method for organizing – that is all about choosing joy when you sort through your belongings. But with ‘stuff’ you might have other reasons to choose it besides pure joy. Like a toothbrush – it doesn’ directly spark joy in you but clean and healthy teeth might.
Now with the picture selection, there was no reason to choose anything else than the ones that sparked pure and intensive joy. So I did. And I ended up with four pictures. The pictures had the following things:
1. Bright hallway with a window and natural light, arched ceiling, pathway leading forward as if in a circle, rugged tile floor.
2. A wornout table in a coffee shop at a window with a mug and an open Bible, rainy but bright background. Red ribbon as a bookmark.
3. Empty wall with a window, potted plants on the window sill that are still just seedlings, one of them red, in the window a mountain and bright sunlight.
4. A dog who peaks from underneath a blanket and looks a bit mischeavous.

In the next session, Christian and my husband talked through what THEY saw in the photos. And Christian made notes. Those notes were referred to as my ‘idea basket’. I could add my observations in the end if the guys didn’t cover everything I deemed noteworthy. But they mostly did, and it was a really interesting experience – with some of their observations I was in tears, and many of the things they mentioned really resonated with me.
These intense feelings spurred by their observations were very helpful in the next step of the exercise. My homework before the next session was to go back to my idea basket and come up with the first version of my motto goal. Again, the main criteria for choosing between the different observations that Christian and Jani had made, was to choose only the once that sparked strong positive feelings. To recap, the first time around I observed my feelings spurred up by pictures, this time I focused on the words in the idea basket. I could add my own thoughts and formulate it so that it fits with what is important to me. But I couldn’t anything that I didn’t see in the pictures one way or the other.
I sat at a coffee shop for 3 hours praying about and ‘analyzing’ the idea basket, the pictures, and my own thoughts based on them. I also thought about three different Bible verses that strongly resonated with what I was seeing in the pictures.
In the next session, I explained my newly coined motto goal to Christian. We also took turns reading the Bible verses I had selected. That was difficult for me because the intense experience with my motto goal made me cry (again). Christian said that it is good because it indicates that the words are deeply connected with my energy system.
At that point my motto goal was still a bit different, but the elements that ended up being my ‘final’ motto goal were clearly visible in the pictures. My motto goal now is:
Trust the mountain.
Grow in the Light.
Enjoy the harmony.
And the Bible verses that go with the motto goal are here below. The last one, Psalm 84, became significant to me already in the summer 2022 when my friend got some words from this Psalm that she prayed over me. The Isaiah 35 verse is one that my husband often recites. And the first one just came to my mind when I was praying about my motto goal. And it has many of the elements that are present in the motto goal. I hope these verses bless you as well!
It shall come to pass in the latter days
that the mountain of the house of the LORD
shall be established as the highest of the mountains,
and shall be lifted up above the hills;
and all the nations shall flow to it,
and many peoples shall come, and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
He shall judge between the nations,
and shall decide disputes for many peoples;
and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore.
O house of Jacob,
come, let us walk
in the light of the LORD.
(Isaiah 2:2-5)
And a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
the unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
(Isaiah 35:8)
How lovely is your dwelling place,
O LORD of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, faints
for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and flesh sing for joy
to the living God.
Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young,
at your altars, O LORD of hosts,
my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house,
ever singing your praise! Selah
Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
As they go through the Valley of Baca
they make it a place of springs;
the early rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength;
each one appears before God in Zion.
O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah
Behold our shield, O God;
look on the face of your anointed!
For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does he withhold
from those who walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts,
blessed is the one who trusts in you!
(Psalm 84)
